A joint stock company in Kamianske. A chlorine monopolist for the water supply system in Ukraine.
JSC Dniproazot produces nitrogen fertilizers, ammonia, chlorine, and other chemicals. It is a monopolist for the production of liquid chlorine for drinking water purification.
Chairman of the Board — Sergei Sidorov.
Industrial facilities are located in the Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Due to its monopoly for the production of liquid chlorine, the company has extensive sway with water supply in Ukraine. Since Ukrainian municipal water utilities do not switch to hypochlorite as a more modern reagent, Dniproazot remains the sole supplier.
In the summer of 2018, Dniproazot announced the termination of its work because it had to sell chlorine to liquid water utilities with a low price. The reason for such price was the price of chlorine which influenced the tariff, and at the same time the tariff could not exceed a certain threshold that, back then, was well below the market price. Hence, the Antimonopoly Committee allowed the company to set chlorine prices at its discretion.
In the beginning of December 2019, the total revenue of JSC Dniproazot from direct deliveries to public utilities and state-owned enterprises was UAH 820 million.

And persons in working clothes with the logo "Dniproazot" participated in a demonstration near the NBU and tried to break into the building.
Also, Dniproazot, together with other Kolomoisky’s enterprises, purchased electricity imported from Russia.
