PJSC Centrenergo’s key assets are three thermal power plants. The company’s structure comprises three thermal power plants: Vuglegirska TPP in Donetsk region (Svitlodarsk), Zmiivska TPP in Kharkiv region (Slobozhanske), and Trypilska TPP in Kyiv region (Ukrainka). The total designed capacity of the power plants makes 7695 MW that is equal to about 14 percent of the total capacity of the Ukrainian power plants. Within total electric power production in Ukraine, the electricity share generated by PJSC "Centrenergo" makes about 6-8 percent.

Associated with Kolomoisky

According to several publications, Volodymyr Potapenko, Acting Chief Executive, is close to Kolomoisky. Furthermore, the informal curator of the coal industry who is responsible for the supply of raw materials to the thermal plants is Vitalii Beliakov. The Centrenergo generation is largely sold to the Privat companies and factories via the auctions. Among such companies and factories are United Energy, Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant and others. At the same time, the price at which Centrenergo is selling its energy to those firms is lower than the average for the exchange. Therefore, PJSC Centrenergo is accumulating losses in favor of Kolomoisky’s enterprises.
