Associated with Kolomoisky

Through several offshore companies in Cyprus the company belongs to Privat Group, i.e. to Ihor Kolomoisky and Henadiy Boholyubov.

In 2019, the Zaporizhzhya Ferro Alloys Plant reached the decision on eliminating the rights of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. In response to the lawsuit filed by the Plant, the Court deemed some of the NABU rights as unconstitutional. The rights included inter alia filing lawsuits and serving as a party to trials on the invalidation of corruption transactions. This happened after the Plant transferred its electricity debt due to local Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo with a huge discount of 172 million hryvnas to another company Energy Network. The total amount of funds raised in the NABU’s lawsuits at the time of the Court’s decision reached five billion.

Thus, the state-owned company Cetrenergo controlled by Kolomoisky is selling electricity to the plant with a significant discount.

The workers of the Zaporizhzhya Plant participated in the protests at the National Bank of Ukraine.
