In 2007-2012, Vavrysh served as a staff assistant to “regional” Mykola Romanyuk, People’s Deputy of the 6th convocation.

In 2010, Vavrysh served simultaneously as Deputy Head of Department of Urban Planning and Architecture at the Kyiv City State Administration – at that time, the Department was headed by Sergiy Tselovalnik – and Head of the Service for Bridge-Building Cadastre.

On August 14, 2015, he left the office by his own will – Vitali Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv, asked him to write the resignation letter.

In 2016, Andriy Vavrysh headed the Riverside Development company (now – SAGA Development), which started the housing construction at the Rybalsky island in Kyiv. Since then, this company as well as other companies of his have launched some more housing constructions.

On June 20, 2019, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky showed the project of his new office in the “Ukrainian house” to mass media. The project was presented by Ivan Yunakov, Chief Architect of the Architectural Bureau 33bY Architecture, and Andriy Vavrysh, Founder of the Developer Company SAGA Development.

At the parliamentary elections, he was responsible for the results in the capital. According to sources, he is the trusted person of Ihor Kolomoisky in Kyiv. He has close relations with Andriy Bohdan, Head of the Office of the President. Thus, Bohdan attended Vavrish’s wedding anniversary, and they were spotted together at the wedding of “shadow lawyer” Dobenko in Saint-Tropez.
