Oleksandr Shevchenko

In 2004-2014, Shevchenko Oleksandr served as the Director of Skornozer LLC (the company owns the Bukovel ski resort).

Since 2010, he has been a member of the Ivano-Frankisvk Regional Council.

In 2014-2019, he was a Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Shevchenko Oleksandr won the snap election in 2014 as a self-nominated candidate. He initially joined the BPP faction in the Verkhovna Rada, but he left in autumn 2015. He was one of the founders of the Ukrop party. In 2019, he put forward his candidacy for the presidential election and expressed his support for Zelensky in the second round.

He ran for the pre-term parliamentary elections in 2019 as a self-nominated candidate but withdrew his candidature in favor of Andrii Storozhuk, his own assistant and candidate from the Servant of the People.


Associated with Kolomoisky

Skorzonera LLC that owns the Bukovel resort belongs to the Privat Group. The final beneficiaries are Henadiy Boholyubov and Ihor Kolomoisky. Shevchenko said that Kolomoisky was his partner and investor in his business. He commented, “If we are talking about my friend and partner Kolomoisky, we are partners in business. He was the main investor in the Bukovel project…”

He also joined the UKROP governing bodies together with Ihor Kolomoisky.
